The Tesla Duo is a meter neutral AMI water endpoint that connects to any encoder using the industry standard protocol through a communication cable. The capability of dual data output options makes the Tesla Duo unique. Meter information is sent to Tesla MDM over a one of several public cellular networks to allow you to read your meters from the office. Tesla Duo automatically picks the strongest cellular network available and has the ability to switch networks at any time.

Tesla Duos also have a built-in 450 MHz transceiver that can be used as a backup for AMR drive-by or AMI fixed network reading. Each Tesla Duo stores 120 days of hourly data for local data log extraction so you never miss a read.
