RG3 Meter Company ("RG3", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through rg3meter.com, our online shop and customer portal, and our product and service communications, and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Contact information you give us, such as name, title, company or utility, email address, phone number and mobile number.
  • Order, quote, shipping, billing, warranty and return (RMA) information.
  • Information about the RG3 products and systems your utility uses, so we can support them.
  • Basic website usage information collected through cookies, such as pages visited and browser type.

How we use it

  • To process quotes, orders, shipments, invoices, warranty claims and returns.
  • To provide technical support and service for your RG3 products and systems.
  • To send the email and text-message notifications you have asked us to send.
  • To respond to questions and keep you informed about products you use.
  • To keep our website and services working and secure.

Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages from RG3, we use your mobile number only for the messages you agreed to receive. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that deliver our text messages, and only so they can deliver them.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business (for example website hosting, shipping carriers, messaging and payment processing), with the distributor or representative who serves your account, or when required by law.

Payments

Card payments on our website are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your choices

You can update your contact details in the customer portal, unsubscribe from emails using the link in the email, stop texts by replying STOP, or contact us to update or remove your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed.
